Mexico's anti-dumping of semi-steel tires from China, preliminary ruling announced!

On April 5, the Mexican investigative agency issued a preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of Chinese passenger cars and light truck tires. It ruled that the products under investigation imported from China pose a threat of harm to Mexico’s domestic industry. It also decided to temporarily (preliminary ruling to final ruling approx. No provisional anti-dumping duties will be levied within the six-month time frame). China has 20 working days to submit comments on the preliminary ruling, and the corresponding comment deadline is May 6, 2024.
